Beautiful Belgium

Me and HM went to one of the most beautiful cities in Europe last weekend:
Brugges

A UNESCO World Heritage site, it was gorgeously medieval and sunny and everywhere you looked was worthy of a postcard. We also went to Brussels (which Hm was less than impressed with, hmph! jk) and Antwerp (where we went a lil crazy shopping at Zara). I was looking everywhere for black knee-high boots but it was just not meant to be. We ate only cone fries and waffles the whole weekend, now thats what you call a real Belgian experience!! :)

ireland

I've been thinking of going to Ireland for a weekend in March. There was an ad in Spits today by aerlingus, and they offered 6 euro flights from Amsterdam to Dublin. There are a few restrictions and unfortunately I cannot go during St. Patricks Day celebrations cuz it's too expensive by then. But for the dates that I've chosen (March 11-14), it'd only be 63 euros! Now I'm thinking who can join me...

My boss is from Ireland and I'm going to ask her about Dublin. While in a meeting with her today, I noticed that one of her artificial french-manicured nails had chipped off. It was the first time I had ever seen her 'real' finger and 'real' fingernail. You'd think that for someone who wore artificial nails all the time, it'd be because they had some horrible disease hiding underneath, perhaps yellow nails or mold and whatnot, but her nail was just a regular fingernail, and nothing more.
